Terms and Conditions Day Sails and Term Charters
Charters:
i. Day & term charter rates upon application.
Payment:
i. A 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking with the balance payable 4 weeks prior to sailing date.
ii. If a booking is made within 4 weeks of sailing date then full payment will be required to make a confirmed booking.
Refunds:
i. If a charter is cancelled due to the fault of Footloose Yacht Charters then a full refund will be made.
ii. Charter cancellations made in excess of 30 days prior to the sailing date will forfeit 50% of the deposit. If the charter is re-scheduled for another time, then all payments will be carried over to the new booking.
iii. Charter cancellations made within 30 days of the sailing date will forfeit 100% of the charter fee
iv. Charter fees that have been paid will be non-refundable for a No Show
Travel Documents:
i. Where required primary travel documents must be valid, IN DATE & SIGNED, passports.
Travel Arrangements: for term charters 2018, unless otherwise specified
i. Passengers will need to arrange their own transport to Grenada or St Vincent, for the Grenadines itinerary.
ii. Charters generally run from noon on the starting date, until noon of the ending date. Charters can run from any day of the week and finish on any day of the week, subject to availability.
Costs:
For skipper only term charters, all food, beverages, provisioning, port fees and fuel costs will be borne by the charterer.
Miscellaneous:
i. It is strongly recommended that you take out travel insurance for your day sail or term charter.
ii. Electricity: The yacht has 12 V / 110 V.
iii. No children under the age of 5 years of age, unless by prior arrangement.
iv. Liability releases for all water activities will be required.
v. Gratuities are accepted. 15% of the full fare cost is suggested as a guideline if you have enjoyed yourself!
vi. The captain's word is final on all matters concerning yacht operations, itinerary and safety.
