Hi Margaret and Alston,
I am writing to thank you for making our wedding a day to remember. Margaret, thank you for your warmth, perserverance and hospitality. We appreciate every thing you did for us! We had total faith that everything would work out with you at the wedding helm. The wedding day was perfect for us. The cake was divine
Alston, thanks for taking a group of flatlander Canadians on a trip to remember. We thoroughly enjoyed our excursion and could barely absorb the beauty of it.
We are in love with Grenada and were sad to come home. I cried at the airport lol! We had the best trip of our lives and we are certain that your efforts and kindness were a big part of it! Thanks for the great memories! love from Canada,
Julie and Chris Anderson
March 2014 Good Morning Margaret and Alston
We just wanted to take a moment to send a big THANK YOU to you for a wonderful wedding day and Grenadines trip.
I know Julie and Chris SOOOOOOOOO appreciated all your help with this and over the course of the past year. planning this from across the pond as one might say, Julie never had a doubt that you wouldn't have every thing as perfect as could be for her special day :) As their dear friends, it brought such comfort to us, that our friends were going to have an amazing wedding, and we were honored to be a part of it :D
I still cant believe we got to the Grenadines!!! I don't know if we have absorbed it still LOL!!! The colors of that ocean, and the swim with the turtles - that first glimpse of Salt Whistle Bay - is thankfully burned into my memory, and will have that forever!
Thanks for having us up to your gorgeous home for the lovely dinner, and the fact that we were able to get our "doggie fix" made the visit even better ;) LOVE our animals as you know :D Was so great to meet Allison too, hope you enjoyed the rest of your visit, and holiday.
Grenada has a piece of ALL our hearts and God willing, we will be back soon to enjoy more time with yourselves and with our friends at Coyaba as well.
Blessings to you all and until we can meet again, take care and Hugs to all
XOXO

March 2014 " Thank you for the most memorable trip on TIMSHEL and thank you for sharing your beautiful islands with us - never forget the paradise you live in daily! There wasn't one thing that we would change, just to have more time on board. At this moment we are planning our return trip - but this time for a lot longer."

2011 "Thank you all for an unbelievable day. The entire day was heaven and when we return to Grenada we will be definitely be taking the boat on charter to the Grenadines.
Ps: You are way too cheap - For the way you looked after us and the incredible lunch the day was worth at least double what we paid!!"

2011 "After trying several other day sails over a period of years, we are simply delighted to have finally found a professional, classy charter with a crew that cares about their guests and really knows how to look them. Just what Grenada needs. I would strongly recommend you to anyone looking for a truly fabulous day out"

2011 Dear Alston and Margaret,
Couldn't leave the island (today) without saying a big thank you for the most memorable experience of our trip. Sharing your final Ceylon mango with us was a gesture of kindness, as is the way with giving food, and we're agreed that the highlight of the trip was the point at which the skies opened and it bucketed down. We all like tropical rain! All in all, an extremely successful voyage and, as they say, success is a journey not a desination. Many best wishes, and please send my regards to Peter and Kenny.

August 2010 Our sailing adventures with Captain Alston DeRoche and first mate Monte took us up the west coast and around the north side of Grenada to Sandy Isle on our first day and along the southern coast to Calivigny Island on our second day sail. Alston and Monte were great hosts as they made navigating the dangerous currents and shallow waters look all too easy. We enjoyed a feast at our destination stop prepared by the crew as we snorkeled, walked the beach, and collected shells. Our meal included fresh grilled Mahi Mahi, barbeque chicken and ribs, home made salads, fresh fruits, and more.

Aug 2010 MASSIVE thanks for the best two days we have ever had! So very glad that we opted to do the two day sails - both equally fantastic. Now eating those fabulous ribs and corn that we pirated from you.
Look forward to doing it all again soon

Aug 2010 Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our day sail on Timshel last Sunday. It was definitely one of the highlights of our holiday, as well as the fastest I've ever been on a sailboat and a great primer for Mark in case we are ever lucky enough to come back to Grenada to do a charter. Alston and Neelon (not sure how to spell it) were perfect hosts. It was a really lovely day.
Best wishes, Julianna Phillips
Jan 2010Thanks so much for a great daysail. We had a blast! Sadly, our vacation is over. We will recommend you to whoever comes to Grenada. And maybe we will sail with you again.
kristin bowen Dear Footloose,
I just wanted to thank you for making our boat trip so fabulous! Alston was a complete darling and did everything he could to ensure we had a wonderful time and didn't get too drunk and drown! Timshel was incredibly comfortable despite the weather, and I was very sad to have to say goodbye. I would highly recommend your company to anyone wishing to explore the Caribbean by sea and I will most certainly be planning another trip with you in the future.
Thank you so very much.
Love Rachael and the rest of the crew! ... March 2009 A rather belated note, prompted by us eventually getting round to watching 'Captain Ron' (excellent film, thanks!) to say a HUGE thanks for such a great trip back in December. The kids loved the snorkelling and the chilling, Karen loved the cocktail party and I loved every minute. Thanks for being such a great skipper and host Alston - much appreciated.
Chris, Feb.2009 "Fantastic ! A dream came true. We've always wanted to take that kind of holiday, you made it perfect." "An absolutely perfect week." "We've had a marvellous time, we'll be back again next year." "An experience of a lifetime." Terrific Sailing, terrific Captain, terrific boat, just terrific !" "Don't change a thing - you have it altogether" "Alston you really know your stuff. Can't wait till our next trip."

I wanted to say thanks again to you -and to Christopher, of course for giving us such a great day out. We had a marvellous time thanks to your kindness and consideration and yesterday was the highlight of our holiday here. Great memories and we are just so pleased we ended up being pointed in your direction.
All the best and may the winds blow fair Philip and Jane ( Ross)Dear Al & Margaret, It was a real pleasure meeting you both on Monday. My wife Bea and I had an absolutely grand time. We enjoyed Al and Christopher and the excellent service they provided us on your fantastic Catamaran. The meal that you prepared for us was exquisite and tasted excellent.

"Thanks again for everything. We had a great time. Alston was an amazing captain and a great tour guide of the islands. We especially liked Bequia and wouldn't mind doing another trip starting from St. Vincent and getting to stop at Mustique."

Margaret and Alston,
I just wanted you to know that the Timshel has resparked my love for sailing. I have signed on to crew for an Olson 30' this racing season. Our first race is this weekend in Puget Sound. (where the water is 43 F and the air 46 F). I am also purchasing a used Laser dinghy to play about in the lake. The winds are good there and the water is warmer in the summer than the sound.
So, thanks for the wonderful week and reminding me that I miss sailing.
